While I agree that inequality is growing and is caused by unregulated capitalism, I am against throwing capitalism out with the bath water. This is a lively debate on my Facebook page where I supported Democratic Socialism (or, what I call Regulated Capitalism, because I want to emphasize the need for some form of capitalism in any successful economic plan). Also, here are two links, here and here, from conservative writers (ya, this is why I am a political independent, as I can see value in other than the liberal point of view) who present the positives of capitalism.
