"Truth": The Most Misused Word

If a society cannot agree over what is objectively true, how can its members effectively communicate, let alone agree? Today, there is a cancer of labeling falsehoods as truth and substituting subjective opinion for objective reality. Religion is a significant cause of this confusion.
