The Essence Of Science.

"Scientists ask, “how can I be wrong,” and then design their next experiment. We make progress by trying to prove new ideas wrong. Good scientists are skeptics, and history shows that initial skepticism is not only reasonable, it is necessary."

Too bad most people don't understand this.
