The Bernie cynics are wrong
Another
factor in Bernie's favor is his executive experience. He served as a
4-time mayor of Burlington, Vermont. When he began, it was a sleepy
city without much to distinguish it. When he left, it was recognized
(and still is presently) as one of the best cities in the USA, while at
the same time resisting the cruel gentrification seen in most successful
cities.
