Republicans over the last few decades have evolved into the party of anti-science. Examples of such are here, here, here, here, and here. In light of this fact, why would anyone be surprised that Donald Trump emerged as the runaway winner of the Republican primary?
Trump seems to accept every conspiracy theory humans have produced. Since, by definition, a conspiracy theory is a belief without evidence, he is emblematic of the Republican party and the reason why this authoritarian with no firm ideology, and with poor character traits, is its nominee for President of the USA.
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.
