One of my favorite podcasts is The John Batchelor Show. He interviews non-fiction writers on a wide variety of topics. The following podcast was from a few days ago and I found it particularly interesting regarding the social dynamics and use of resources as humanity continues to be more and more urbanized.
Batchelor also discussed politics with several known media personalities. However, he is a "legacy Republican" (HIS words, not mine) and generally presents that POV only, In light of such, I am more "selective" over the political podcasts of his that I listen to.
The question is, how can urban infrastructure transformations in the 21st century advance the environmental sustainability and human well-being of our cities by taking advantage of the enormous potential offered by data science and technology?
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.
