When Facebook changed its name to Meta to emphasize its focus on the future of virtual reality I thought it was just an attempt to catch the eyes of the younger folks who are into video gaming. After watching the video below and talking to others more knowledgeable than me on the topic, I realized that it has wide implications, both good and not-so-good.
