"According to the CDC, in 2014, 95% of children from 13 to 17 years old had
received at least one dose of the Varicella (chickenpox) vaccine. (Kids
are supposed to receive two doses.) That's a good thing because,
contrary to popular belief, chickenpox can be serious for some people.
It killed roughly 100 to 150 and hospitalized more than 10,000
Americans every year in the early 1990s."
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.
