Get The Science Correct

"We know that Spielberg can make historically accurate movies when he wants to—look at Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan. The filmmakers had the opportunity to be revolutionary and groundbreaking once again—but they chose to be safe and conservative and gave us a tired retread of a tired franchise. Interstellar also was a better example of getting the science correct. Why not base movies on the best science so that no time is wasted trying to convince the public that such-and-such is incorrect?
