Most Christian apologist will say that the great universities of the Western World were founded on Christianity. They are correct. However, they have progressed since their founding into secular, reason/science based institutions that advance human civilization. One cannot honestly point to their Christian foundations and say that caused this advancement. If one wants to see what these great institutions originally looked like, check out modern Christian colleges.
