Over the last few decades, the US Republican party as changed from a focus on being a legitimate balance to Democratic/Liberal economics to being a mouthpiece for theocratic Evangelical Christians. Demographics do not appear to be in its favor.

comment to the Republicans: you brought this on by allowing yourselves
to be hijacked by the Evangelicals. Don't let the door hit your rear
