Politics And Pyramid Schemes

For several decades, the US population has been actively duped by Multi-Level Marketing programs that present the appearance of legitimacy.  However, in actuality, many are just Pyramid schemes.  In spite of inadequate laws presently, now the US Congress has proposed H.R. 5230.  While giving the appearance of tightening up the law surrounding this activity, the Bill effectively eliminates prosecution of all but the most blatant forms of pyramids.  BTW, this was a bipartisan bill with the majority Republicans.

Why This Anti-Pyramid Scheme Bill is Outrageously Wrong for Consumers
