I am a retired physical therapist. I now realize that much of what I used to treat many problems was not based on good research. I see that there isn't much change.
Should You Exercise if Your Muscles Are Sore?
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.
Magnesium in the form of epsom salt bath or epsom lotion seems to help my sore muscles. Maybe its all in my head though. Wonder if any legitimate study on that (the magnesium) has been done?
ReplyDeleteI doubt that there is a peered-reviewed study to support that. Perhaps you can commission such. Seriously, thanks for the comment. I have spent most of my life in this area of healthcare, and I can tell you that most of what is going on is bulls**t.
