From Ignorance To Knowledge

Think about the worldview that the founders of the Abrahamic religions had. It was based on superstition, myth, fear, and ignorance. THIS was their "Universe":

We now "KNOW" (Science is from the Latin root word for knowledge) that the Universe is MUCH bigger and more complicated than the writers of the Bible ever could imagine:

A serious question: why would anyone continue with humanity's initial worldview when we know it was grossly inaccurate? After all, babies do grow up and learn.
