It IS The Religion, Stupid

"PuffHo is on a crusade to stamp out 'Islamophobia,' by which it apparently means not just bigotry against Muslims themselves, which is reprehensible, but criticism of the religion. To the latter end, it repeatedly asserts that Islam is not a divisive, xenophobic, or particularly hateful faith—and it’s not, so long as you’re a Muslim of the right sect. But if you’re a Sunni, the Shias should watch out, along with nonbelievers, ex-Muslims, gays, Christians, and women (the list is long)."

PuffHo tries to whitewash Islam again (yawn)

Why The Huffington Post Should Never Be Read For Science Information

"One of the latest contributions from HuffBlow to the national dialogue comes courtesy of self-described teenage 'food safety activist' Rachel Parent, who skyrocketed to fame after giving an anti-GMO talk for Tedx and debating Kevin O'Leary. Her new article is titled "GMO Propaganda Has No Place In Your Child's Classroom." She then goes on to regurgitate her own propaganda."

Progressives Can Also Have Blind Spots

" - - - Are these people unaware that the Democratic Party just ran a black candidate for President twice in a row, and brought him to victory? Are they unaware that now we’re doing it with the first woman Presidential candidate from either major party, and one who will likely win? No, that’s not enough: they have to start an #ElectionsSoWhite campaign."

The New Science of Afterlife Research and Its Benefits to Society?

"Researchers as diverse as physicians studying the near-death experience and engineers setting up electronic equipment through which the deceased can communicate are the new high priests telling us about what to expect when we die."

Huffington Post, Oprah and Bulls**t

"Overall, I don’t understand why the actions of people like Fraser aren’t illegal. They promise things they can’t deliver, they tout skills they don’t have, and pretend to put people in touch with loved ones who are dead. It resembles quack remedies like homeopathy (which should also be illegal), and there are no warning labels."

HuffPo and Oprah tout a fake psychic    (Note: "fake psychic" is redundant)
