Click on the link below for a video by Sabine Hossenfelder presenting the current state of our knowledge about the origins of life on Earth. Take that, "God of the Gaps" apologists:
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.

Knowledge Of The Origin Of Life On Earth Continues To Expand
"What do we know about the origins of life? From the formation of the solar system to microbes evolving into bipedal mammals with opposable thumbs, today we will look over the four major theories about how life began."

An Adventure In Time
The Universe in One Year (inspired by
the late astronomer, Carl Sagan) explains the history of the universe in one
year as a “Cosmic Calendar”.
Human history points on this calendar from National Geographic’s The Genographic Project, beginning in 2005. It highlights how recent human history is compared to the history of our universe, as well as how recently science emerged.
“Big Bang” (January 1, 0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds)
Origin of Milky Way Galaxy (May 1)
Origin of Solar System (September 9)
Formation of the earth (September 14)

Origins And Anthropology
There probably isn't a normal human being who hasn't ask, "Where did we come from?" The following videos do an excellent job of explaining the probable history of how all life and humans began, and the history of human biological and cultural evolution. Oh, if you ask "Why?", that is a philosophical or religious question for which NO answer is justified no matter how intently apologists try to do so.
Where did life come from?
What was the ancestor of everything?
Why are we the only humans left?
Are we all related?
The Two People We're All Related To
From the fall of Dinos to the Rise of Humans
The Humans That Lived Before Us
When We First Walked
When humans were prey
When We Tamed Fire
When We Met Other Human Species
When we took over the world

Another Human Relative Found
"Bohlender isn’t the first to suggest that
remnants of archaic human relatives may have been preserved in human DNA
even though no fossil remains have been found. In 2012, another group
of researchers suggested that some people in Africa carry DNA heirlooms
from an extinct hominid species (SN: 9/8/12, p. 9)."
DNA data offer evidence of unknown extinct human relative

Human Origins Is Convoluted
This is an interesting article giving a clearer picture of humanity's evolutionary past.
These ancient Asian primate fossils might be the missing pieces of a major evolutionary puzzle
Here is an interesting series of articles covering human origins and migration,
