Click on the link below for the effects of accepting the lies of the Republicans/MAGA/Trump:
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. The harm from religion, alternatives to medicine, conservatism, and all other false beliefs will be exposed on this blog by reporting the findings of science. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.

Memo To The Media: Stop The False Equivalency!
"As Americans gear up for the election, Bill Adair warns of an 'epidemic of lying' in U.S. politics -- particularly within the Republican Party. Adair joins the show to discuss his new book "Beyond the Lie." As founder of the fact-checking website PolitiFact, Adair is well placed to account for where disinformation comes from, how it spreads, and the danger it poses to democracy."

- Lies, conspiracy theories, and the Republican Party (link)
- 27 Donald Trump election lies listed in his Georgia indictment (link)
- The modern GOP is built on lies (link)
- Fact-checkers find that Republicans lie up to 3 times more than Democrats (link)
- Fact-checkers are shown to be unbiased in their findings (link)(link)(link)
- The recent Republican debate was full of lies and misleading statements (link)
- The US Constitution is clear about the separation of religion and government but Republicans lie about such and attempt to force harmful and false religious dogma into our secular laws (link)

The Culture Of Fact Is Lost
“'The culture of fact': the idea that an observed or witnessed act or thing—the substance, the matter,
of fact—is the basis of truth and the only kind of evidence that’s
admissible not only in court but also in other realms where truth is
arbitrated."

"In Lies We Trust"
The following is a sad commentary regarding what US voters are willing to tolerate in their candidates for the Presidency of the USA. So much for evidence-based thinking from both the candidates and the electorate:
All politicians lie, some more than others
