Many, if not most, religious people are so not because of evidence or philosophical logic/syllogisms but from religious experiences. Elizabeth Loftus, "an American cognitive psychologist, and expert on human memory has conducted extensive research on the malleability of human memory. Loftus is best known for her ground-breaking work on the misinformation effect and eyewitness memory, and the creation and nature of false memories, including recovered memories of childhood sexual abuse."
Below is a 9-min video on how religious experiences can influence the belief systems of the religious.
Arguing God from religious experience?
Human knowledge has progressed exponentially since the dawn of modern science. It is no longer reasonable to accept claims without sufficient objective evidence. This blog will also reinforce what should be the basics of education: History, Civics, Financial Literacy, Media Literacy, and Critical/Science Based Thinking.
